Who we are

This website and the "How Financially Toxic Are You?" quiz are run by Belwar Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17288760), registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). What we collect

Quiz details: your first name, your quiz answers and your results (score, level, money monster and leak estimate).
Your email address, if you choose to receive your report.
Where you came from: a short source code in the link you used (for example, the group or partner that shared the quiz).
Technical data: your IP address and basic browser information, which our service providers process to run and secure the site and emails.
Purchase details: if you buy a product, your email, name, billing country or address and the product you bought. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

How we use it

To show your quiz result and email you your report.
To send you money-saving tips and offers for our products, if you ticked the consent box. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
To deliver products you buy and to provide receipts and support.
To understand which groups and partners send visitors, and to pay partner commissions.
To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

Our legal bases are your consent (marketing emails), the performance of a contract (delivering purchases), our legal obligations (tax and accounting records) and our legitimate interests (security and improving the quiz).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run this site:

MailerLite, to store your email and quiz results and send our emails.
Stripe, including its Onelink checkout service, which processes payments and acts as the merchant of record for purchases. Stripe handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
Cloudflare, to host the website and its server functions.
Google Fonts, which loads the fonts on our pages and receives your IP address when it does.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States and the European Union, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your email and quiz results while you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we may keep your email on a suppression list so we don't email you again. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually six years.

Cookies

The quiz does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our emails may use standard open and click tracking so we can see which emails are useful.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to or limit how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy of it. Residents of some US states, such as California, have similar rights. To make a request, email office@belwarstudios.com. If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

This quiz and our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
